Oh my...little James has been so sick the past two days. Fever, vomiting, coughing, running nose, the whole shbang. All I can do is hold him and keep him clean. I feel so badly when he throws up, because it scares him, and he cries, which makes him cough, which makes him throw up again. *sigh* At least last night he slept good. The night before, he just couldn't get comfortable. I gave him a quick bath this morning (he smelled a little fresh...) and clean clothes and tylenol and put him back down for a nap. He was up earlier this morning again with a fever and more vomiting. The doctor said the best we can do is try ot get him to drink an ounce of pedialyte ever hour or so. He hasn't eaten anything for 24 hours and hes MAYBE had 10 ounces to drink. But the doctor said as long as he is producing tears and wetting diapers, he is hydrated. Spencer gave him a blessing last night and we are hoping that he starts to feel better soon. I am hoping that he sleeps good today - he hasn't slept much at all for 2 or 3 days.
Spencer and I were married August 12th 2006 at the Washington DC temple. We welcomed baby James in March of 2008 and baby Madelynn in April 2011. I became sick with unknown disease process in January of 2012 and began diagnostics immediately. We moved our life and family down from the DC area to Willliamsburg, to be closer to family. Spencer and my parents made it possible to do the move in such a short amount of time. We have lived here for one year already!.

Sick baby

Bye, Grandma
Jeanne Stauffer, May the angels of Heaven open their arms to you and welcome you home. We are so grateful that your suffering is over. We love you, and you will be missed.
Grandma passed away Feb. 13th at 2:45pm at 79 years of age, surrounded by her husband and three children.
