My mother in law, Liz and I, along with my brother William, Allie our dog and James went for a walk around the neighborhood and happened upon a little park area that had a baby swing! James had never been on one and he wasn't too sure what to make of it - but it was fun to have another first with him!
James is now walking just about everywhere he goes - doesn't really crawl anymore! Its amazing! Now we are getting ready to celebrate his first birthday in just a few weeks!!
Spencer is currently in San Diego for 9 days in charge of a conference for work - he is having a blast, and enjoying being busy (and in charge) :o) Liz has come out to visit for 12 days while he is gone to take care of me and James! It's been fun having her here! James is enjoying spending time with his Grandma Boulter and Allie is excited to have someone new around!! Liz is making sure I take lots of naps and have a chance to relax, which I usually don't get a chance to do.
James is dealing with his very first full blown ear infection (in both ears!), as well as a bizarre yeast infection on his tush. He is always such a good sport about being sick - he is smiley even when things hurt, bless his heart.

good luck with the ear infection....i've dealt with WAY too many with Victoria...Hope the little guy heals quickly
